Privacy policy for mobile applications
This is a general concept for mobile applications published by MultiMediaMarkers. Because features and vendors vary by app, every active app must receive a verified, app-specific addition in the App Store and Google Play before publication.
Data and device functions
An app only processes data and device functions necessary for its described operation. Depending on the app, this may include account information, contact details, technical device and crash data, camera, photos, notifications, or location. The app requests permission in advance where the operating system supports it. You can change permissions later in your device settings.
The specific store listing states which data the app in question collects, for what purpose, whether data is linked to a user, and with which service providers it is shared. MultiMediaMarkers does not sell personal data.
Purposes and retention periods
Data is used to deliver, secure, support, and improve the app. Account and project data are retained for as long as the account or service is active, and thereafter only for as long as necessary for processing and legal obligations. Technical data and backups are deleted or anonymized according to a limited, app-specific period.
Children
An app specifically aimed at children is subject to additional safeguards and a separate explanation. Without such an explanation, the app is not intended to knowingly collect personal data from children. A parent or guardian can make contact if there is a suspicion that this has occurred.
Your rights and deletion
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or transfer, and object to processing. Where an app has an account, the deletion route is listed in the app or store listing. You can also email info@multimediamarkers.com, stating the app name. You can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
Security, suppliers and changes
We take appropriate technical and organizational security measures. External suppliers are listed per app and receive data only for their agreed task. We may modify this policy when an app, supplier, or legal obligation changes. Any material change will be announced via the app, store listing, or this page.
